Light Breaking Through
I am a master painter from Iceland. For most of my working life I have mixed colors, studied light and watched how the right color can change the feeling of a whole room.
Here in the north, winter brings long, dark days. I know how heavy that darkness can feel – and I have seen how heavily it weighs on people around me. Many carry far more than anyone can see.
But I have also seen what happens when the light breaks through the clouds. It is quiet. It is warm. And it changes everything.
That is why Faithful Design exists. Each piece begins with a verse from Scripture. I choose every color and every ray of light with care, and only release a design when it says what the verse says: that hope is stronger than darkness.
My hope is simple. That when you hang one of these pieces in your home, or give one to someone you love, it will remind you every day that you are not alone – and that God is near.
Giving back
10% of every sale goes to Icelandic charities that have carried my own family – and so many others – through dark days: Kraftur, which supports young people living with cancer and their loved ones; Ljósið – “The Light” – a rehabilitation and support center for people with cancer; and Píeta, which works to prevent suicide and supports those left behind.
